I drove mine around yesterday to confirm my make shift flag pole holder was good enough to support the stars and bars at highway speeds. I tested using a Cubs flag not the stars and bars just incase of failure

I drilled two 1/4 inch holes in a wooden flag pole, zip tied it to the spare tire and around the tail light, thing is solid

I'm assuming the Cubs flag failed...
