2014 JKUR 6 speed manual. 12000 miles and just got it back from the dealership with a brand new tranny. Back in December I got stuck on the mountain in a snow drift, for 8 hours. When I finally got out I found my tranny would grind going into 5th gear. After taking it to 3 dealerships they finally tore it down and decided it was built without a spacer on a shaft that allowed a bearing to shift and then lose the syncros in 5th. First they wanted to just rebuild it,assuring me that all the metal filings and fines were captured by the magnet on the transmission pan. I argued ,I won, I got a brand new tranny. I have had both auto and manual jeeps. I really like my manual.Attachment 596467

Finally did a little bit of trail riding. Coming from an automatic manche and tj im barely learning all the tips and tricks of wheelin a manual. Its much more fun and technical. I found myself doing many climbs in 2 because 1st gear is really low with 3.73 and 33's in 4low. :rock
