Method Wheels plus Wheel Spacers

Anyone running this combo? Pics please?

Method Wheels which are usually 17x8.5, 4.75 backspacing plus spydertrax or other brand 1.5 wheel spacer? Issues , works well, as long as torqued correctly?

Thanks

I think the questions that are coming your way is... why? There is no need based on that backspacing.

If for some reason I wanted the wheels pushed out more for stance.

I don't see why it would be a problem. I currently run 1.25" spacers with some Raceline beadlocks with 4" backspace and it's a daily driver also. Over 30k miles on this particular setup as I had another set of wheels/tires to switch to if I wanted to change things up but for the most part, low/LCG and wide......that's how I run it.

Only time it might be an issue is if the local highway patrol officer wants to be a big D about it but so far, they've been pretty cool with me.

What wheels are you looking at? My methods are 3.5" of backspace

I'm running the NV with 4.75" backspace. I've got the AEV 3.5" lift, no issues and no need to run spacers.

I have this set up but I don't have the spacers on yet. Been to lazy and busy to put the spacers on. I like the wheels though.

There is no need, but it gives it a more aggressive stance. My lift calls for 4.5 or less and these wheels are 4.75, so I had bought the spacers but they aren't needed actually. On day I'll put them on.

Hey all, I know they are not needed, I know the wheels alone, Method NV clears alone with a 35" tire..but just wanted to see pic or hears stories of people running pacers with them for a more aggressive stance, and being problem free.

This is not what you are asking for. But here are the methods with no spacer. Different model same specs. Sent from my iPad using JK-Forum

I'm running Method Fat 5 but no spacers. Not needed. No rubbing unless I have max articulation and turning.
