don't know about it correct me if i am wrong. If MOPAR bulids a V8 JK dose it mean that it's officially done. i mean company approved.

Seeing as Mopar is Chrysler's parts and service division then to some degree I suppose it is official. And I officially want one!

The Mopar team does a lot of things that won't come stock. However, they will probably sell the parts for such things if they feel there is enough of a market to sell to.
