MPAC and Stitches
Twas two nights before Christmas and because I'm such a winner; I unboxed my new MPAC for a quick install before dinner.
My install would work with a strut from Jeep Swag; No time to waste, not even to play tag.
I measured and marked and did it all twice; No time for power tools, and no time for a vise.
I pulled out the razor knife and started to trim, the plastic tailgate piece so the MPAC would fit in.
Cut away, cut away, a little voice said; But I didn't listen, I had "hurry up" in my head.
I pulled the razor towards me and it sliced the plastic with ease; I made one cut, then another, the work was a breeze.
The voice was still there, but it was starting to linger; When all of a sudden, I buried the razor deep in my finger!
The pain of the cut, was nothing compared to the strife; Of having to go inside, and face my kids and my wife.
We were supposed to be leaving to go have dinner; But now we would be late, because dad is a winner.
The ER doc was nice, and my stitches look great; We made it to dinner, just a little bit late.
Dinner was over, and we were home by nine; Which meant I could finish my work, there was plenty of time.
So here is the finished install, I think it looks "tight";
Merry Christmas to all, and to all a Good Night!

Nice poem - and we're glad you're OK!
The install looks great, but what a price to pay!
The next time you work in such a big hurry,
Please do play it safe so we don't have to worry.
