Sucker Punch

Picked up my Jeep on 10/30/13. Looking forward to getting some warm weather so I can finally get the top and upper half doors off!

Here is how she looked the day I picked her up from the dealer


Haven't done a ton of mods on it yet. So far I have added the Bestop Highrock 4x4 full width bumper and Ace Sliders


Future plans -
This Spring I am planning on installing a 3.5 or 4.5 lift (either Rock Krawler or AEV) still undecided and 37's - Probably will go with level 8 wheels. Teraflex tailgate hinge, etc, etc, etc.

How do the half doors work with the hard top? Some type of soft panels secure in place?

You have to order the Jeep to get the half doors OR you can buy them aftermarket(you have to paint to match the Jeep). Dealers cannot order them for their lot and they have to be a sold order. The half doors only come with the standard soft top. The only way you can order the jeep with the hardtop and half doors would be to get both sets of doors which is pretty pricey. I don't need or want a hardtop so that was not an issue for me.

You can run the mopar half doors with a hardtop though. So if I ever decide I want a hardtop I could always pick up a used one on CL or someplace. The uppers don't match the color of the hardtop so that is the only downside to running half doors with the hardtop. Here is a picture of a JK unlimited with half doors and hardtop - believe this is blockrockin's Jeep. Looks good to me

Been a while since I posted... Got my 4.5 AEV SC lift installed with the 37x12.50x17 Nitto Trail Grapplers and teraflex hd hinge and tire mount. Here are some pics from last week
