My Grill Mod
Thanks guys, I love the way it came out. I used scrap material I found from work. They get it from MCS. Here's the link, http://www1.mscdirect.com/CGI/GSDRVS...00000149298561 I don't know the part number, but I can ask a co-worker.

After reading alot on this subject I did this mod yesterday. I used the plastic gutter guard from Lowes with the square zip tie connectors and Gorila glue. I peeled off the sticky backing on the squares and cleaned the grill with alcohol and sanded the areas to put them. I had one pop off but re secured it and seems to be fine now. I am not sure of how long the Plastic guard will hold up but it looks good and still has good airflow...
I wanted to do something different from the diamond pattern as well, so I went with circle punched.

As far as aluminum getting beat up, mine has been on for a good 6 months and 10,000 miles and still looks good. I went with the aluminum since you don't have to worry about rust.
