My kind of screen bikini
Well, i wanted to make a mesh top for the Jeep, but i didn't want to just punch some holes in it and bungie it to the jeep, so i made one my way.
I fit the top out of our pattern paper we use at the canvas shop;
Then I made the pattern out of screen, fixed an alteration or two and put the final three snaps in to finish it up. Sewing it up this morning took me a few hours, but for the first one i have figured out where my zippers need to be to make a nice tight fit. Here is my pretty much finished product:

Thanks for the compliments guys! I was torn between this screen I used and another higher density screen we have. I chose this stuff because I only wanted a little bit of shade. The higher density screen is twice the grain and gives you a lot of shade.
