Bought a used XRC10 with a busted control box.
I had been holding out for a used Warn, but the price and proximity were right.
I didn't buy a genuine Smittybilt replacement control box, instead modding a project box from Radio Shack.
The original Smittybilt control box had fancy-shmancy gel stickers, so I figured the new box needed a sticker as well.

Whadda ya think?

7x5x3 project box
hole cut for remote socket
holes drilled for screws
cutout clearance for power cables out the back
trim down screw standoffs inside so box could sit down on control box bracket
It was actually pretty quick and simple.
I want to replace the control box screws with stainless, since the existing are corroded.
They are metric and I'm having a hard time finding a metric screw in that size with a hex socket pan/dome/truss head.
