Always cool when the wife is on board. My wife's been driving a stone white 4dr freedom top for about 2 years. I've been jealous since day 1.

Low and behold about a month ago she calls me up out of the blue and tells me "meet me at the dealer, your jeep is waiting for you". She is the best! We're now a two jeep family. I have an '09 Black 2dr soft top. Now, what mods to make on this sucker.....

Getting the wife on board is extremly helpful in understanding the "jeep thing".

We are really lucky to have awesome women in our lives. Now I need to let you guys know one of the reasons I had the all clear for the Jeep goodies.

We were in Moab for EJS, since we had my 3 yo with us I tried to pick tame trails. Thought Hurrah Pass going to Chicken Corners would be a great choice. Hurrah pass is really an easy trail, with awesome views. Just one problem my wife does not care for cliffs to much. She wanted to keep going but I turned around after reaching the summit of Hurrah Pass. Then those wonderful words came from her mouth, "Get me down from here and you can buy anything you want!"

She meant it too after coming down, ran into the BFG rep at the 4 wheels parts truck. Basically they were offering one of my KM2's for free, could not pass that up!

 

That's why I ask... plus it's just common courtesy, a marriage is a partnership.

 

Right there with ya man my wife is awesome too! She was totally cool with me doing about 5 things to my jeep at once! =) i'm soooo happy!

then in a matter of a couple weeks i got a big paycheck and bam!

got the black wheels i wanted...

got the grille i wanted..

got my clear blinkers ..

got my windows tinted..

AND got wheel spacers!!!

very nice! My wife is always cool with mods. She loves the look of a jeep with upgrades.

 

You have the second best wife. mine was the best...she gave me that divorce I always wanted!


That is kick ass though, most women don't understand this whole jeep building thing. The coolest part is she is getting involved and having fun with you out on the trail.

 

A wife that understands the importance of jeep mods...I need to find myself one of those. I've got the mods but an upset wife.
