New fenders are on - what's your opinon?...I like it!

Thanks for the comments guys! I plan on doing some trails and such, but nothing too crazy. Hopefully i can keep them looking decent. Plus now I have a set of black plastic ones to cut on!

Did you do the swap yourself? Was it hard?
It wasn't hard at all...they old fenders are really easy to remove - I've got a detailed doc that i can forward to ya. Also found a place online that sells all the factory clips, push-in plugs and plastic rivets super cheap compared to the dealership - and the plastic rivets require a special plastic rivet tool. That was the only thing special I had to buy.

JacKed 8 - you're only about 10 minutes from me...where were you when I was looking? Surely we've passed each other on I-540 or something!

This was the other main reason for going this route - I could get the front looking good but the back ones were always stained

Sure would have -these puppies are freshly painted! I picked them up (silver) from another fellow JK'r and got a killer deal from Steve Smith body shop...I was just messing with ya though!

Did you paint your stock fenders or did you buy these somewhere? I'm looking to color match my fender flares as well. I have red rock and was trying to find someone who was selling stock sahara red rock fenders but I can't find any. I'd paint mine if I could make them match and more importantly not chip.

Guess I replied too soon. I see you painted them from your last post. Thanks.
