It's been awhile since this thread was started... Any other comments after having this setup for awhile? I'm looking at doing the same.

What size spacers did you go with? Were they necessary?

Also... Did you need a different tire carrier for the rear?

In short - using a relocation bracket will work, but upgrading to a bumper-mounted tire carrier is the best long term fix for any tires larger than stock.

I also have the 295/70R18 Grapplers on my JK with stock wheels. You don't need a new carrier, but you will need either a wheel spacer or a spare tire relocation bracket that bolts to the factory carrier (mine is from TF). The factory wheels don't have correct backspacing to to avoid contact with the bumper. If you have an aftermarket bumper with a larger tire cutout, this may not be the case. Keep in mind, these tires are ~25lbs apiece heavier than the stock Sahara sneakers and they will place increased stress on the factory carrier and tailgate, especially when coupled with a relo bracket. I pucker up every time I hit a large pothole and see the spare wobbling around, just waiting for one of the tailgate welds to pop.

The relocation brackets available also extend the tire upwards an inch or two, likely blocking your third brake light. Be prepared to solve this issue as well. I used the Delta-Tech Lug-Nut Lites. See picture below.
