Finally got a couple of days of sun forecast and got the bug to drop the windshield. What a PITA. Turns out I needed to drop the bars between the sound bar and the windshield to get it to go down... the sun visor brackets are too tall to let the windshield go down.





Anyway - driving around with the windshield down ROCKS. Driving around town, getting lots of looks, lots of waves, lots of 'cool Jeep' comments. No greif from the local cops - on the highway into town or in town itself. I was worried as so many posters claim they can't take even their doors off. That's gotta suck to live somewhere where you can't be free.

SO - last night the forecast was 30% chance of rain, total amount <1mm. Basically enough to dampen a sponge. Well that didn't happen - we got so much rain I couldn't even drive the Jeep and had to take the wife's truck to work. haha

Tonight is 60% chance of lots of rain. So I put the new soft top on...
