Still workin on a way to secure it better other then ratchet straps and bungee cords.

I am getting ready to put an aluminum truck box in the back of my 2 door and the idea I have to secure is to get a couple of 3/8 inch threaded j bolts and washers, drill a 3/8 inch hole in the bottom of the box, run the j bolt up from the bottom and attach the j to the bracketes on the floor were the front on the seeat attaches. I hope that makes sense. Good luck.

Nice! those boxes don't belong on the fire truck anyway...they just take up space. good to see it put to use

That box is about 15-20 years old off an old ladder truck out of prince george's county md. It was sitting in the basement rusting away and I thought what a shame, so now it's sitting in my jeep being put to good use AND rusting away!
