Default New Tires/wheels/body lift and some other touch up work.

Hey guys,

Just got in my 2" PA body lift a week or so ago and put that on, also got the new wheels and tires the other day, painted them, balanced, and mounted them. Also removed extended front bump stops, fixed rear tire carrier, and topped it off with an oil change and quick maintenance work.

-Did the 2" body lift first since it was the first thing that came in. Did it in my garage with a jack. PIA to get the washers off the stock bolts. Spent the majority of the time doing that. Other than that it was an easy install just sliding in the pucks and new bolts along with a steering linkage adapter.

Pic here with the grill off. You can see the new puck mounted under the headlight.

-Wheels are double bead lock H1 wheels. Recentered to 5x5 with 3.5" backspacing. I painted the inner halves black and the outer halves gray. Tires are 37x12.5x16.5 Goodyear MTs. Sit at about 36.3" inflated to 28 psi not under the jeep. Used bb's to balance them.

-I removed the front extended bump stops that I had installed with the 2.5" Teraflex lift since the BL added more room for flex these were no longer needed.

Bumpstop extension removed and stock put back in place.

-The rear bumper/swing gate is from Body Armor. The lugs are not the same as the stock JK ones and I misplaced the lug nuts that came with it. So I cut the welds holding the lugs in and welded in some new matching lugs. As well as this the piece you see that has the lugs coming out had a crack in the lower half. Re welded that as well.

Finished everything off with an oil change, filling up the washer fluid and checking the air filter. Was a pretty successful day and I love the way my jeep looks now.

Looks good. Those wheels look awful heavy.

Thanks! Also you are 120% correct. They aren't light by any means. Surprisingly though not too much heavier than my old 315s.
