Off Road Trailer
Wanted to share some images of my latest off road trailer.
Framing with 2x3 and 2x2 .120 wall. I used a suzuki leaf spring, because its longer and rides softer than trailer springs.

With 35s.

Got the sides on.

My tailgate opening and the fenders that I made.

Shocks installed.

Got some paint on it and working on a lid.

I'll post some pics when it's completed, I got pulled away to make some rockers for a YJ.

That trailer looks really nice, at some point I will be getting an expedition trailer. That is way down the road, if you don't mind me asking how much time and money have you spent on the project already?
Do you mind posting the cost for this? Do you think that this will be a good project for a beginning welder?

Thanks for the compliment,
The cost so far is about 1500 without the wheels and tires, I kept them from my previous off road trailer. I have about a 40 hour week into it so far, I'm taking some time off work right now, so it might take a weekend warrier a couple months.
I think that a beginner welder could handle building a trailer like this. Make sure you have a good plan before you start because this could save you alot of time and money.
