Default 15"

hey all,
a quick question...do you feel more power as a result of a lighter 15" rim? does anyone know the weight of the stock 17" rim and tire combo for a rubicon?

btw, they all look sick!!!!!!

Just curious, I was only able to find the Baja Claw Radial tires in 35X12.50R15LT, and they supposedly only fit on a 15x10" wheel:
http://www.mickeythompsontires.com/t...BajaClawRadial

I was able to find the BAJA Claw Radial 6 Ply Mickey Thompson tires in 33x15.50R15LT at the following link, but it's not listed on Mickey's site as an option so it may just be a typo at this site because one would have to get an 18x12" wheel if you want one in the size Mickey offers (33X15.50R18):

The only tire I could find near that size is the Super Swamper TSL/SX in 33x15.50-15LT, which is actually the size I want to use on the "Pro Comp Series 97 Black 15" X 12" 5 X 5" B. Pattern 2007-2010 Jeep Wrangler JK" wheels, but I'm not sure what will be required to make them fit... including spacers and/or lift? Also, did you have any issues up front when it came to taking advantage of the full turning radius?

Oh, and I almost forgot... those wheels & tires look excellent on that awesome Jeep of yours!

Here is my JK with a 2" spacer lift and 33x12.5x15 Mastercraft Courser MTs on 15x8 American Racing Baja wheels. I had to put Spidertrax 1.5 spacers on to allow the wheels to clear the brake calipers. They are 3.75 backspacing and -19 mm offset for anyone who is curious.

Jeep looks great but not a lot of backspacing after you put on those wheel spacers. You're now down to just over 2". You'll end up going through hub bearings and gear boxes fast.

Not true. A modern wheel spacer with bolts of high quality has no different effect than running a wheel with more backspacing. Look up what wayolife says about it on the wheel spacer thread. He knows his shit. Trust me. Thanks for the concern though. I suppose the other option would be to grind down the brake calipers to make the wheels fit. The old school spacer that were sandwiched in between the wheel and the hub caused more problems like that and were known to fall off as well.
