I don't understand your set up. You lifted the Jeep 5" overall, but then erased all of that clearance with those dangerous side steps. It might be a stretch, but you may now have a less capable Jeep than a stock X.

I agree. But, even if they are removable, most Jeepers looking at them won't know it. OP may chose to say he doesn't care what other folks think--so why post up the pic's? We all care; it's only natural to want approval by sharing what excites you. Those steps are definitely going to limit that approval, even if removable.

I am not crazy about those steps unless they retract, but as long as you like them and it is how you want it, that's all that matters. Overall the Jeep looks great!!

Looks great, as for the steps, well maybe he needs them to get in. He might be vertically challenged

Default How Ironic

If they're not removable they will be after his first wheelin' trip. I was just thinking about steps yesterday. The same kind but ones that retract. This thread gave me a new idea... Kickstand steps. Time to draw something up.

You guys are dicks. Who cares about the steps? I like them, and my wife would love them. As far as the guy saying it was less capable then a stock x, get off your high horse and think it through. Obviously more capable then a stock rubi.

Nice rig my man. Functional and capable. Good job.

Wow... "dicks" huh? While those guys could of stated their thoughts with a little more tact, one thing remains a fact. If the steps that are on that Jeep aren't retractable or removable they will be damaged on any serious trail. Hell, I know some mild trails that will destroy them. So if your idea of "capable" is simply making it past an obstacle, you're probably correct. But some believe capable means completing more than one obstacle without loosing parts. Just saying.
