Default Onboard Air

What do you guys think? Out of harms way and doesn't take up any room inside:

Here's the compressor, works pretty good:

Pretty cool. Is it always hooked up to the battery? Do you have to crawl under there to flip the switch on?

How well is that protected from the elements?

it has jumpers to connect it to the battery, so i just leave the switch on but disconnected so the power isn't always running to it.

right now its not that protected from the elements, but i plan on adding a cover to it soon. i figure its not any worse than having a winch on the bumper.

Interesting, keep us posted if you try to add some weatherproofing. I have the same compressor and this gives me a few ideas

Really bad idea. Any rain, water hole, car wash, etc. will destroy that pump. Even dust and mud will clog it up and ruin the pump.

Uh, no. It'll be done for as soon as you submerge it. The idea was well placed though. Fab a tank up and put it in its place then run an airline from the cab.
