Default Ordered IPF H4 conversion, finally....

I have read about the stupid head lights in the Jeeps until my eyes crossed. In the end I ordered from Northridge. I hope I do not regret the upgrade, I have never spent so much on headlights. All the reviews, even the bad, helped me make my mind up. Thanks for the help (searched history for days)....

You'll like them. They are the headlights that should have come stock on the Jeep. I didn't care for the blue bulbs (all available when I ordered my own IPFs), so replaced them with the cheapest Sylvania Halogen bulbs from AutoZone ($20/pair). The performance is outstanding--even better (IMHO) than the blue bulbs that IPF provides (I drove side-by-side with another Jeep with those and preferred mine).

I have had them for awhile. They work well for IPF's. Surely better than the stockers.

I hope so. I was trying to decide to get the IPFs or HIDs but I did not want to run the factory housing with the HIDs so I will try these.

You won't regret it. I tried silverstars for a few weeks, then got into the IPFs when they came out. I think the stock headlights are downright dangerous, especially in dusk situations. I was tired of wondering if my lights were actually on. I guess the proof is that I no longer think about my headlights.

Have you tried to use the Silver Stars in the IPF housing? Courious mostly, The IPF bulbs are suppose to be good too. Some people change the bulbs out though.

No - the silverstars were H13's and the IPFs are H4's. I might try them if I have to buy new bulbs.
