Painted Tow Hooks
As many of you have done before, I painted my tow hooks. Yes, red, like the 10A Rubi's. What can I say? it looks awesome.
I used VHT High Heat Engine Paint purchased from Auto Zone. I sanded the hooks with some 320 grit, then sprayed primer, color, and clear, allowing each to dry for at least 24 hours. I put the clear on thick, then once it was dry I hit it with some 2K clear. The 2 part clear/hardener should help the paint last, even through use, and of course it has that wet look.
FYI I took the tow hooks off to paint, which is worth the extra time in my opinion. Definitely recommend the mod to anyone who is thinking about it, as it's a cheap and easy way to spice up the look of your Jeep!

They actually have a "Chrysler Red," which is pretty close to the color of the Rubi shocks:
