Pet peeves!
Have no pet peeves about other Jeeps..its their Jeep. Really have no pet peeves about mine..I knew the drawbacks when I bought it and it was worth it to me. So, my biggest pet peeve....trying to get a wheelin trip together and having 20 people saying they are going and having 5 actually show up!
Bitching about people bitching is... Well let's be honest BITCHING
Besides this was not meant to be a bitching thread. It really isn't any different than the blasphemy thread only there isn't a crap load of pictures
And more importantly
On the BEING NON PRODUCTIVE topic.
It's stuff like this that can make the minds behind jeep builds think (oh people don't like this idea, or people don't like this function on the jeep, LETS FIX THAT)
All that being said I hope to one day build a jeep with no flaws. One that everyone loves and can't find anything wrong with
Chances are that will never happen. You simply can't please everyone.
But it is not NOT productive to try and wrap our heads around all the things that piss people off about jeeps or jeep builds or jeep builders.
People that don't realize that there is a reason some of us run the stock spare, instead of replacing it with the new tire and wheel. In my case, it was another $2000 to have a new wheel and tire mounted on a new tire carrier on my jeep, per the quote. I knew that I could do much better than that.
It bugs the crap out of me that someone thinks that they are the all knowing person when it comes to four wheel drives, and jeeps, because they have a clapped out TJ, that they bought like that.
People that complain about someone elses lift, because it is not done perfectly, in their opinion. So what if I am running a four inch lift on a JK? It works for me, and I have been in \to and out of places that smaller lifts could not have gotten me.

Baaahahahaha!!!!! I think us true jeep guys are just tired of all the whining from guys like OP. Many of us accept the vehicle for everything it has to offer, including its quarks, which vary in opinion. We're just tired of the complaining.
Any complaining, you know what you have? First world problems. And commonly associated with that? Thin skin. There. That's my pet peeve. Complainers. Sell your rig, go buy something else.

Agree with all of that
And I'm not meaning to bash you at all about your stock spare man. I totally get why people sometimes just have to do that. It sucks
If it were me I would probably take it off all together
I personally love this look.
Although other people may HATE that look but that's what this thread is all about
And if you have a tire carrier than that look can't really happen anyway with most tire racks because you would have this random thing that swings out on the back of your rig
But anyways like I said
No hate against you or anyone for having the stock spare. It just sucks to see it sometimes

I love it for all that it is. Every weird thing it does and every scratch it gets. In my opinion it makes it more alive
I'm not wanting this to be a war. I mean no negativity against anyone who has done something to their rig that I find to be a pet peeve.
We aren't complaining about our rigs. in fact I don't think there is a single post on here about someone hating something about there own rig
If I truly like an idea I'm going to do it no matter what. but if I'm on the fence about something and I'm not sure if it would be a cool idea or not. Then I would want to see what people think of it.
So BEHOLD. The thread in which you can find out what people think of that idea.
