I have a set of these and really enjoy them. I like that they double as a side step becasue I put my bike on the roof.

I was looking over at the site and noticed they sell two types. One to mount on a stock or suspension lifted JK and another with a 1" body lift. Does any one know if there really is a difference between the two. In the near future I plan on doing a suspension lift first then a BL some time later, but want to get the rock rails first....Thanks...

But if no body lift, it needs to come out below the body.

Based on that, I would say you could buy the one for no body lift now, and continue using it when you do put on the body lift, but there will be much more space between the body and the slider.
I understand now....Thank you...

after I got them on I took a hi lift to the center of the bar and jacked up my unlimited driver side tires off the ground

the sliders deflected alittle bit but wen back to normal once sat back on the ground
