Hi - I'm about to pull the trigger on 33's w/ no lift and do mostly mild wheeling (puddles and trails). I have a stubby bumper and 4.5 in backspacing. Think there will be any issues on the trails or should I just play it safe and stay w/ 32's?

Thanks!

I have 33/12.50/15. At full flex there is rub on the fenders in the back. My bs is 3.75 so they stick out pretty far. With the 4.5 in bs you should be good...especially with the 285s over the 305s. Oh the front will rub at full turn on the plastic air dam nut who needs that anyway haha

This is the exact, well, almost exact set-up I'm going to go with, only diff is I'm thinkin MT classic 2's black or polished, which are almost the same style rim. Loved the D.Cepek Mud Country's on my YJ, good tires!! I like the stepped tread and they're super quiet on the highway and clean out well on the trail.

nice lookin heep you got there also!

Based upon the info. on this forum, that air dam is worth about 2 miles per gallon...which translates to about $50 per month for the average driver.

Yeah.. who needs that thing? It's just cash flying out the window...that's all.

When I put the front stubby bumper on it no longer fit. Hate losing miledge / cash, but I'm managing about 18-20 miles a gallon (mostly highwway driving).

Subscribed to this thread! I will have my 33's coming in on Friday.:ya::ya: I like most of you also have no lift yet so when I get those bad boys on I will post up some pics. I also went with the stock rims because I like their look and got 1.5 inch spidertrax!
