Default Pics of hi-lift jacks?

One of my stocking stuffers was a hi-lift jack for Christmas. Though I wanted one, I really didn't want to mount it where it would get rusted (I know, don't have a choice... throw a bag on it I guess) but I haven't found a good place to mount it. I definitely don't want it on the hood.

Any suggestions/pics?

Thanks,

Mark

Under your back seat in a JKU works perfectly!! Doesn't catch road grime or rust it's like it was made for it!

I have mine on the rear door henge with a EVO mount. It's a Hi-lift Jack it's suppose to be rusted! Lol I usually take it off when I'm not on the trail.

Thanks, that might be the best way for me. I like the rear door methods but I don't like how high they sit up.

Ben,

LOL... sounds like something I'd do. Thanks for going out in the cold for the pic. Works perfect.

Quick question, the bracket the jack is sitting on, did you make it or is it produced already? I think that setup or mounting it under the seat is the way to go for me.

Thanks,

Mark

Hey Mark. No bracket here, just drilled 2 holes through the tire carrier. A couple of 1/2"x3"bolts and I was good to go. just make sure it sits down low enough to be under the glass. I had mine under the back seat for a while, but I like to be able to lay the back seats flat and that was not possible with anything under them. I looked at about every jack mount there and am very happy with this.

I'm a big fan of the Woods/Jeep Swag, "Dave" mount. The jack is up, out of the way, it doesn't rattle, you can mount a shovel and an axe to it and it isn't outside to rust and no one is going to take it.
