trails at night
when running trails at night you don't get as much glare. and if you get a better breeze when easing down the trail. I loved putting the windshield down on the Scrambler I used to own. but that was simple 2 wingnuts. I'm not sure if it's worth teh trouble on the JK cars.

time?
How long does it take to get the windsheild down after you have the top off?
Has anyon had trouble with leaks from the base of the windsheild after laying it down?
I used to put it down on my 83 scrambler all the time. It did leak at the seal but I didn't care on that jeep.( drain plugs removed)

No leaks or problems after screen was secured back. To remove, its easily 1/2-to-1 hour of work. Simple to do but time consuming.
Unscrew and remove the black tupperware along tops of doors, unzip the black roll-bar material (use velco strips to foldback and tie to the overhead centre consol), remove the white foam roll-bar covers, unscrew and remove the painted front portion of rollbar, unscrew and remove the painted windshield plates...finally fold-down....

maybe a dumb question... but what happens to the wippers? they dont look like they could bend and fold properly to lay the window down... do you have to remove them?
