Where were those pics taken at? I'm orginally from the Decatur area and haven't seen any trails like that around there.

 

If you only want to run 35's, you could save yourself a ton of money and pain-in-the-ass by going with a lot smaller lift. If the height is what you are looking for, I agree with everyone else that you should put much bigger shoes than 35's under a lift that tall.

 

X2. My 35's with my 4.5" lift and flats look tiny. Add another couple inches and it will look goofy.

 

Yes, the JK frame to fender relationship is significantly more forgiving than the TJ was/is! If you want to fit 35s you really only need 2 "- 3" lift and thats with no rubbing on stock flares. I would only go with a 6" lift if I wanted to fit 40s with the stock flares.

I run 37s with a 3.5" lift and flat fenders and she is damn near perfect, but she rubbed hard at full stuff on the stock flares.

What everyone else said... 6-inches of lift with 35s is too much. I went with the 4-inch lift so I could eventually run 37s with the stock fender flares (but am running 35s now).

Search for articles from "planman" on the forum. He often posts detailed explanations on how to run large tires with minimal lift.

i went with a 4.5 lift and 35's.......

in the future i hope to upgrade to 37's with this lift-but because of my stock d30 and d44 axles this is probably the biggest tire i can run and go wheeling on until the axles are stronger

you can get an idea of the spacing .....

 

Here's a photo of 35's and 4.5" lift. No need for a 6" unless your running big ass tires. I got more than enuf room for bigger tires.
