Guys with the rocker knocker rock sliders, do they come prepainted or do I have to go get them coated by myself?

Almost positive the finish is on you. The rocker armor has the option of powdercoat I think. I will be rattle canning mine to match the rest

It cost me about $9 to do my brawler lite

Come bare metal - not worth powder coating imo. They are there to take a beating so I wouldn't waste your money unless you can get it done dirt cheap. I bedlined my knockers then hit em with a few coats of semi-gloss just to bring the grit of the texture down a bit. Trying to keep everything easily rinseable in the winter time so the road salt doesn't stick to it all and destroy it.

couple pics..

$9 bucks! What are you using? What brand and what kind of paint?

Thanks

Matt

they come bare metal. it is up to you to powder coat or paint them. I chose to paint them ( rustoleum flat black ) that way if they get beat up it is easy to touch them up .

Thanks for the advice do I still have to clean, sand and then prime the metal before applying rustoleum.

I scuffed mine with lead wool, clean them with wax and grease remover ( I bought at a auto paint and body supply store ) then finished wiping them off with a tack rag. I personally did 2-3 coats of primer and then 2 coats of paint...let it dry and then applied 2 more coats of paint let them dry for a day , then mounted them up........... I mocked mounted them on my rig to assure all the bolts lined up and had a good fit before I painted them.
