I was testing flex yesterday and had no rubbing on the pinch seam (rubicon unlimited) running 35" KM2'S. I do think I am going to go ahead and cut it back anyways. Like woodweavil said, its sooooooo close at full flex that its just not worth risking the damage.

As far as i know, u need more than a 2.5 inch lift to properly fit 35 inch tyres. Sure u can get away with it but at full flex ure gonna rub badly without any fender mods. Ive rubbed my 33's when they where brand new at full flex... just a heads up for some ppl that wanna wheel hard..

I'm not trying to argue by any means, but I was out the other day testing flex and rubbing issues:

Granted these are just a poser shots... I did a walk around and noticed virtually no areas of significant rubbing. I did end up with a little over 3.25" of lift from my TF 2.5 spring lift however. This made my day, considering I had every intention of chopping the fenders after the 35's were installed. Really the only area that I noticed might require some modification is the pinch seam and rubi rail by the rear tires.
