Default Power Wheels Jeep Hurrcane, supercharged & added LED's

This started out as a small project & quickly grew into a lot larger one...I finally needed to get replace my tires on my smaller jeep, so after some comparison shopping I found some on amazon & had them here in 2 days. So as I was googling how to change the tires I ran into a website that had all sorts of modifications. I couldn't believe some of the things these people do to these things. I did however find a couple of ideas that I decided to go ahead & run with.

1. I pulled off the old tires & while I had them apart I decided to bedline the wheels.

2. Next from reading online I found a way to increase from 12 volt to 18 volt. After a quick trip to the store & $20.00 later I ran both my stock 12 volt battery inline with the additional 6 volt= 18 volts (Supercharged...lol) I went from between 2.5mph-5mpg to about 9 mph. Huge differnence & the kids love it. (Yeah, it allready had a HEMI)

3. I also found some people running LED lights on their vehicles, so I tackled it. I added 2 5MM white LED's in the headlights & 2 orange LED's in the marker/running lights.

4. After hooking these up to a 6 volt battery, I found that they look good, but don't really put out much lights. That's when the wheels started turning-a Rigid Dually Flood Light!

As you can see, I lost my winch, but I gained 1300 Lumens of lights. The kids think they got new jeep hurricane, & have been on it non-stop. My wife even let them stay up late to run around the cove after dark. She did tell me I'm taking my mods a little overboard, but she thought it was actually pretty cool.

So no, I didn't get to supercharge My JK, or add anymore lights, but it was a fun project.Only question now is "I wonder if Rough Country has a lift for the kids jeep yet?"

These are definately worth the money over the standard little jeep power wheels. We've had ours for 2 years & finally had to change the tires, but otherwise still holding up. It handles better off the street/driveway
