small update ... the body work is almost done, but still no paint and no pics at the moment.
looks like i'll be headed south to VA to pick up a set of axles. just d30/d44 housings but with 4.10s and for a decent price.
that means i need to order the lift kit ASAP on monday, and i got myself a price for tires/wheels ... i should really order those this week too, but we'll see. also when i order those i should really order the tire swingout for this bumper and two brackets for the toft top all at the same time since its all from the same place ... enter mr credit card ... shoot ... didn't want to do that, but this thing has progressed a lot faster then i thought it would.
still waiting for SLC to find a box for the hood so they can send me the hood, a battery tray, and a rear lower link.
that being said, the next 2 weeks should have lots of updates and pics so stay tuned. also means i might finish ahead of schedule!! however slightly over budget ...

well they are just the housings and gears ... i gota swap my shafts and brakes over to them. but seeing as how i only need a new front housing and really want 4.10s ... it works perfectly!
this guy bought these '07 axles to regear his '06 i guess ... never really got the full story

ok, so yeah, 8 hour round trip ... 3.21 gears with bare housings, no where near what he told me they were, but i can still use the front to get my jeep on the road. now he was a nice guy, so i don't think he did it on purpose ... he just had NO clue what he had. someone bought 4.10 housings from the dealer and sold their stock set to him. "oh yeah, that would make more sence"
so not only do i not have 4.10s, but i still don't have a carrier to put 4.10s on later. i've been doin really really good so far on this build ... i had to get shafted somewhere ...

i'll get any pics up tomorrow, the front axle is totaly in place ... but i still don't have the knuckles and what-not on there. but i will for sure get to drive it some this weekend!!!
