How come it looks like diamond plate in the catalog pics and the SEMA pic shows a smooth finish?

 

does any one know what brand the lights are on the Trail Master Red White & Blue 4-Door JK the ones on the bumper?

Those are RETROBUILT Mustangs. Retro look on 2005 and newer mustang GT's. Pretty cool, but at 30k per conversion (not counting your car) they are a little pricey. Still better performance with a vintage look cheaper than you can buy an original.
