Bumper build in progress. Figured I'd take the easy and safest way out of this part. Anyone out there bought a pair of d-ring mounts from Pure Jeep?

I was faced with the same problem so I ended getting some mounts from A2Z and they look pretty strong, should be installing later today.

I used the MDRP D-rings... And love them, and the price.

I cut the crush cans off a Mopar winch bumper and mounted PureJeep rings. They bolt through the bumper and into the frame flanges. Worked out great. They are built like a brick shithouse!

The Mopar bumper has extra holes to mount the plastic can-covers. I painted some carriage bolts flat black and filled the extra holes with them.
