JK Show & Tell Whether they're just poser shots in your driveway or hardcore action shots on the trail, if you've got photos or videos of your Jeep JK Wrangler (or any JK for that matter that you think is worth showing off, inside or out), we want to see them so please post them here! Likewise, if you are wanting to see a photo of something specific like an aftermarket JK part or poser shot with a specific setup, this is the place to ask for it.

Default Put an end to "will it rub"

Specs: 2012 Rubicon 2dr.
2.5" AEV lift
1.5" Wheel Spacers
315/70r17 GY Duratracs

Without wheel spacers the front tires rubbed on swaybar at about 3/4 turn to full click. The rear tires actually slightly rubbed on the rear control arm. With the wheel spacers installed the front wheels are about an inch away from rubbing at full click.

Rubbing on the Rubi rail or pinch seam has also been a common question and I think my picture answers that question. It is NOT touching the Rubi rail.

The second picture is of the front wheel fully flexed to the bumpstop. The tire just barely clears.

Now AEV says the 2.5" lift can clear 35" tires. Considering my tires are 34.36" a 35 would probably rub the Rubi rail, but not the front fender.

Also, my front axle at full flex is about an 1-1/2" from the exhaust. The full flex picture is last.

Nice! Did you make it to Round Up this year? It was pretty much the same old thing...

Great info. I'm trying to decide between the AEV 3.5 and 2.5 with the 315 Duratracs so this info is great. Any chance you have a pic of your JK from the side?

I didn't get one with it level, just flexing, with the 315s on, but I'll get one this weekend and post it. I do have this one from the rear that you can maybe get an idea of the looks and one with the factory 255/75r17s if that helps.

Also I had to trim my rub rails and pinch seam. It wasn't a big deal. Otherwise no rubbing.
