How does the safari cargo net work with keeping the soft top on? I was under the impression that the soft top had to be totally removes

Nope, they work under the factory tops fine. You do have to undo two of the straps on the very rear of the sport bar to drop the top, but with the cam buckles it takes all of 8.3 seconds.

The Safari straps can remain underneath the soft or hard tops - but what about the Smittybilt? I'm looking for something to keep a couple of dogs from leaping out of the JK during my "everday" driving as well as retaining cargo when I hit the trails.

Thanks in advance,
KD

How much do these things flap in the wind when you are driving down the highway at 70 mph?

I used to have the factory soft top before I switched to the Trektop and the SmittyBilt CRS would fit right around the folded down soft top...its incredibly easy to put on (takes about 10 mins) and I love it if that helps. Plus I had it on my Heep with a bikini top for like two months going to work everyday on the HWY at 70 mph and it never gave me any issues
