I looked at the MBRP, but I didn't like 2 things about it. 1) I prefer the lights mounted upright, not upside down. 2) I prefer 3 lights since I have 2 side driving lights a center spot beam.

This one is plenty beefy and looks proportional in relation to everything else I have up front. The MBRP is almost too beefy for my tastes. Looks a bit awkward to me. I also paid less than $60 for the Rugged Ridge light bar through Q-Tec!

Hey man thanks for the pics I got the same bar for X mas. I was puzzled as hell thought for sure we had drilling and the poor pics on directions were no help. But thanks to my laptop in the garage and your pics bingo i am back in business. I dunno how you get your hand in there to bolt on in the frame,,, back to the wrench work!!

Glad I could help. Use masking tape to tape the back of the bolt onto the wrench to hold the bolt in place. Once you thread the bolt in place and remove the wrench, the tape will just break loose.

Hope the install goes well (or went well).

It doesn't attach to the bumper. It attaches to the frame rails, but looks like part of the bumper. I think it would work with bumpers that are detached from the front grill like the bare bones stubbies and others, but not sure.
