I love the look of half doors when everything is off, but with a JKU and everything zipped up it is a lot of fabric rolling down the road. Still on the fence...

I still really like the way these look, but after seeing the total price with paint it's just one of those mods that gets farther and farther down on the list of to-do's. They do look great though!

need to know how water tight. I like offroading with doors off so i can clearly see how deep i am getting but by the time it matters I can feel how deep the water is Additionally i like not worrying about scratching my stock doors. However, I would only get these if they can keep out a good bit of water for when it gets about 1/2 way up the door? Thoughts?

Great job on the half door video
Great job on the video. Just another reason why this forum is so great. I had half doors on my 99 TJ and replaced the upper canvas zipper/velcro half once the plastic started to crack. I replaced them with the sliding plexiglass kind and loved it. That was also the very first mod I made to the old TJ. My new JK is black and I think the paint on the doors is a little bumpy. It could be some tar or something but it would not come off. So this would be a good modification for me down the road.
