I painted mine Jeep Green when I got it as I did not like the silver. Even with good prep, several layers of paint then clear coated, it still chipped bad after being on for just a few weeks, that I removed it. Not so sure about the red though. The green didn't stand out much due to the dark color, but the red seems to really stand out.

Yep I did the old rattle can. 4 coats of paint and 3 coats of clear coat.

was it difficult to wire the fog lights? did you wire it up to the turn signal or a toggle switch on dash? I'm thinking of doing the same.

When I put in my KC fogs I spliced into the factory wires that work off the turn signal bar. works great, but check your wattage for the new lights and the factory wires only put out 30 or 50 or something like that. Oh, uh that was with out the factory fogs and a new bumper up front, so I wasn't using those wires for anything at the time. Now I am, just the KC's.

I have them wired for a switch but didn't care for the switch Delta supplied so I'm holding off completing it until I get my switch and location figured out.
