Just scored an AEV bumper and Skid Plate for under 1000 off craigslist! So awesome.. I was going to go for the ARB but this was to good to pass up... The only problem is my original bumper was hit by another crappy driver and I can't take it off until they give me some estimates on the damage. I am hoping with the accident claim and labor I might be able to almost offset the price of the AEV and skid! Wouldn't that just be a blessing in disguise!! Post some pics soon... He was going to throw in the warn winch and lights for the bumper for another grand. Just don't have that much Jeep Fund right now!!!

 

I did a similar thing when I hit a deer in my Liberty. I was able to order an ARB winch bumber, have it painted and installed for $100 bucks over what the insurance would pay for the replacement pastic and foam crap that was on their before.

No deer have taken me on since then
