Can you tell us more about how the vehicle is used in search and rescue operations? It looks good but many people buy all of the lights, sound system, and big wheels but obviously are not involved in SAR efforts. I'm a little surprised that the vehicle doesn't have a snorkel yet to go with the theme as well as the exhaust system and tuner. Do you also carry an oversized snatch block to utilize your winch in heavier conditions?

Looks like it's searching for its first off road run period.
Then again, another rig will need to rescue that dolled up Sahara. Way too much armor all to grip on the non existent sidewalls with those 20s.
In order to do deep rescue recovery you'll need a GOOD winch 12k minimum. Also, consider a larger tire on a smaller wheel. Without on board air, a welder, and no back seat to keep more tools and supplies. . . Fair to say it's just a search vehicle.

Hey guys, thanks for the questions and supporting comments…
Let me say that my Jeep is first my daily driver and was put together as such. All of our local S&R groups are 100% volunteer with zero corporate funding so there will be situations I’m comfortable putting my Jeep in and some I won’t. It’ll never have a snorkel because I’m not willing to put my rig through hood-high water but it’s perfectly adequate for the snow routes, brush trails and logging roads very common to our local missions. I’m certainly not the hardcore off roader that I’m sure is prevalent here and that is somewhat prevalent in our group but I can assure you that 99% of our calls don’t require a 12K+ winch and a welder but thanks for your input. I’d didn’t build a rig I’m going to beat the ever living crap out of but I am happy to risk my investment for the sake of others when needed.

I wasn't bashing and certainly don't partake in the hardcore off-road scene, just asking about SAR since it seems to be a lost art in my area. In hurricane season I go down a set of roads that easily flood to 3 foot deep and have pulled vehicles from the water. Different strokes for different folks I suppose.
