Duplicolor has a spray paint out called Metalcast. It is to give chrome an anodized look. They have a color called smoke. I wonder if you could take a set of regular (inexpensive) chrome wheels and spray them with Duplicolor Metalcast Smoke.

This is not an ad it is a suggestion for someone to try it out and post pics.
