Default Show me your 4-4.5 lift with 35s

So I'm currently running a 2.5 in Teraflex suspension lift with 35in Goodyears. I think I want a little more height but can't decide between the Tereflex 1.25 in body lift or the Zone 2in body lift. Pics and thoughts welcome! Thanks!

Body lifts start to look a bit weird, but that is just my opinion and that doesn't mean crap at the end of the day....though, you're not going to find a ton of body lifts on JKs for good reason. I think those are just a bit more old school. I think that 2.5" lift and 35s is a great look myself.

After doing a lot more investigating I think I’m just going to add the 1.25 Teraflex body lift to my already 2.5 in suspension left netting me 3.75 in which I think will be perfect.

You could always just add some coil spacers. It's what I had to do when my rear started sagging after installing my body mounted tire carrier.

Flat fenders would give you the look without messing with the issues of a high lift or the funny look of a body lift.

I have to agree with Dirtman on this one. Flat fenders go a long way, and you avoid all the issues of a body lift.

This is 35s on no lift with flat fenders:

37s with no lift and flat fenders:

This is about 3" of lift, flat fenders and worn 37" KO2s which are probably 35" and change:

Since you're thinking body lift, I presume you're after appearance and not worried about the COG hit from raising the body and passengers/cargo. There's no two ways about it: JK body lifts look a bit ugly. There are gaps that look pretty rinky-dink. Is that what you really want? I've wheeled over the past 13 years with hundreds of other folks with JKs all over North America and only one of them that I know of had a body lift. Here's a photo of it. Notice that he installed rock rails (Shrockworks) that can be specially-ordered to be compatible with the Rubi OEM rock rails so that gap is hidden. There's still a visible gap above the rear bumper, though.

Recommend avoid a suspension lift since that provides only marginal performance improvements with significant reliability issues, as well as raises you COG. Dirtman has a good suggestion for an appearance change that doesn't affect performance or reduce reliability.
