Yes they might. Just as in some places the police may hassle you for driving without doors, or without three mirrors, and so on. That's something that will depend on where you're driving, and whether that cop is in a good mood or not.

 

I also have the tough stuff hood mount but I bought it for the shovel and axe because if you mount a hi-lift on the hood, it will rust after keeping on for a while. What would you guys suggest for me for an axe because all I can find are yellow axes. Yellow just doesn't look right on a red jeep.
