Show Off Your Front Bumper!!!
#321
I have been trying to install the new Christmas present for a couple of days. Having issues getting the stock bumper off. The bolts are frozen and I have enough PB on them to ignite the whole rig. Going to get a torch this afternoon and see if I can get them off.
I do have a question on fog lights when installing a new front bumper. My new bumper has 4 LED (2 circles and 2 long oval) and each has a red and black wire. I have read so many posts that I think I can wire them from the existing fog light wires. This can be done by cutting the fog light harness and matching up wires and then butt splicing them together. Is it really that simple?

Brand
It depends on the brand of the lights and the year JK. Some lights the wires can just be spliced and others you're going to have to get an adapter and splice on the adapter in order to plug it into the lights. Headlight revolution usually has an awesome crew and will answer your questions better than I can. Not sure what the rules are on linking websites so just Google them.

Thanks! I got the project done tonight. I used a couple blue jumper connectors and wired directly into the stock wire harness so I wouldn't have to cut it. Special shout out to Rogue26 for all of his help. <img src="https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=633037"/>

The bumper is from KO Offroad (eBay). It is similar to the Barricade Trailforce on Extreme Terrain. I did so much research on bumpers before I purchased and for the money and what we do jeeping, it was worth it. I cannot tell you how happy I am with the bumper and the service they have provided thus far. I've read and researched and found there are opinions that the bumper might be made in China. For the money, there was no one touching this price, not even E-Autogrilles. So, I pulled the trigger.

The outer lights are far brighter than the factory fogs. The middle lights are more like running day time lights and do not project as much.

That looks great. I'll have to check out KO Offroad vs the E Autogrilles.

LOD mid width. I think its a good compromise between a Full and a Stubby. I got this 3 years ago still looks new besides a few scratches that I'v touched up.
