So rather than bolt a bunch of unnecessary extra stuff on, like huge bumpers and lights etc. I'm trying to reduce the amount of stuff, keeping the vehicle lean and mean.
I'm at the point where I'm trying to think of what to do next, but I don't want to do something just for the sake of it, y'know?
Two things I'd love to do are replace the back seat with something lighter and easily removable, and the other is to replace the rear lights with simple round ones.
In the immediate future I want to get rid of the rollbar covers and repaint the roll bars.

Friends keep telling me to olive-drab the thing, which I like the idea of, but I'm not sure if I need to slavishly follow the military aesthetic to that degree. Which is why I've avoided adding military style decals. I'm not interested in creating a facsimile of a military Jeep...I just want it to look bare-bones and capable.

That said, I'm completely open to ideas, and always love to see military themed JK's.

Your Jeep set up is amazing, please tell me lift height, rims size, tires size, thanks nice job building it.

If I were to make one suggestion, it would be to swap out the Mopar sidesteps for some Rubi rock rails. It would look 'leaner,' not to mention being more rugged.

I wasn't exactly aiming for the military look, per say. just more tough and functional. Still debating on snorkle or no snorkle and what I want to do for additional lights.

It's funny you should say that. I was reading this thread before - https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/show...your-rockrails! - and was thinking the same thing.
I agree with you totally, and this might turn out to be my next big mod.

You did a great job with that rig. It's sharp and clean-looking.

I think it's legal to marry your jeep in Louisiana

Jokes aside - that is a badass looking jeep.
Agreed. Mean looking rig!
