So I'm upgrading from the 2.5 flex to the 3.5 X-factor tomorrow - do I need to move the tear swaybar mount back? Will I have an issue?

Since I am upgrading, I didn't get any bolts or anything to move it? Or instructions that tells me that I have to?

Thanks for your help!

Scott

yes, you have to move it back 1" from the factory bolt holes. The kit uses a self threading bolt after you drill the new holes.

Like I said, this is an upgrade to the X factor from the flex and it didn't come with the bolts!?

here are the instructions that came with my 3.5 X-factor. Has bolt size and install info. I realize you don't have the kit and you are upgrading, I was just letting you know what the kit has and wants. You could probably find a set of 3/8 self taping thread bolts at fastenal or tractor supply.

Or just tap it yourself.

I started building a jig to torque down the RK jam nuts to the 250-300lbs. It's from leftover scrap I had so this is what I came up with. Hole sawed two size holes for the different upper & lowers joints to be clamped by the body so I can keep them inline.

You're a genius. I'm definitely copying this!
