Default Show Your Crib!

This is my Home, built 6 years ago, that means; 24 more years on the MORTGAGE , I hate that, if I didn't have this dang mortgage I could do more mods to the JK.

My house of 5 years now (with my former '08 Sahara). I work as a computer geek, so I am an "extreme telecommuter".

My backyard that month was Quartzsite, Arizona.

And this month is was Malibu, Ca.

And, of course, Moab, Utah, whenever possible.

Pay the next month's principal payment each month. It starts cheap (a few dollars early in a mortgage), and presumably gets more expensive when you have more earned income. You can significantly shorten that "24 more years" (to about 12), while saving a bunch of coin in interest (tens of thousands of dollars on a typical mortgage).

If you pay the same amount but talk to them and get your payment split into half on the first and half on the fifteenth you'll knock it down to about 20 years. Then if you pay a little more each month (for my $104,000 it's $89 a month) you can knock it down to 10 years.
