I wasnt actually here for this one, but this is a place we go alot, Silver Lake Sand Dunes in Michigan. I guess they had to get a tow truck to get him back over

Thats the only 'real' obstacle on that trail...but 'Turn Around Hill' is starting to wear in and get fun again...

I crawled over the point depicted in the photo with my Rubicon (no lift) with no problems...

Ah ok do I have to go all the way to prescott then south to get there from phoenix or is there a way from the 17?

All of the others in our group made it up with no pulling required, but the Unlimited was stock with street tires and because of the extended wheelbase he kept coming down on the rocks and getting high centered. It was getting a little late so a little tug with the winch made it easy to get over the hump and up to Crown King for dinner.

The Backway starts by Lake Pleasant and you get to Crown King from the back (not from Crown King Road).
