AEV Snorkel

while AEV is the more popular snorkel, i do believe there are only 2 maybe 3 to be had at this time, and with AEV being the easier of them to install, plus the looks of it, (without the fish bowl) are complimenting of the JK, JMO

 

i like the AEV snorkle my self. just not ready to cut my hood yet.

 

That was the hardest part... not actually doing it... but growing a set big enough to make the first cut!!!

 

Drive 20 minutes to our house and see the AEV snorkel in person....

The black JK pictured is my wifes JK. She wanted River Raiders snorkel but unfortunately the wait for the new design was several weeks out from being released and she was planning on taking her JK scuba driving the following weekend. At first she didnt like the look of AEV's but once we installed it on her's it quickly became one of her favorite mods.... and mine since she thinks at time she's driving a submarine

I'm still on the fence on which to install on my JK. If I end up getting a RIPP then my choice has to be River Raiders. However I like on AEV's that you have the option to swap out tops to accomodate the conditions of where you are wheeling.

Both are great products and a cheap insurance policy to help prevent hydrolocking!

You can pm Britime, the green Rubicon pictured is his and he got one of the first new designs of the RROR snorkels produced with the Gatorhyde finish. He might have a few close up pics to share.
