Only a small amount of water got in from tailgate in the "ventilation area" behind the spare.
Also some water can get in from your drain plug if they old or dried up.
So far i never got any water in from my doors, but I have a friend of mine that have a Tj with half door and water get in like crazy, but i think the problem are the seal of the doors and not door itself.
